Inspection before opening
A post-installation inspection should confirm workmanship and compliance with the project. Anchors, safety zones, impact surfaces, joints and signs need checking before children enter the site.
Different checks serve different purposes
Routine visual checks reflect the intensity of use and may be weekly. Operational inspections are typically monthly or quarterly, while the main annual inspection should be carried out independently. Building-control duties may apply in parallel.
A site log supports users and operators
Keep reports, photos, defect notices, repairs, manufacturer instructions and closure decisions together. A consistent record reveals recurring faults and shows that risks have been addressed promptly and proportionately.
