Active Orlik 2026: infrastructure works when the programme works

A new sports facility does not create an active community by itself. It needs regular sessions, a committed operator and conditions in which different groups feel welcome.

Support for everyday operation

Active Orlik 2026 funds activities rather than construction. Its budget is PLN 20 million and the minimum local contribution is 5%. Municipalities could seek up to PLN 20,000 for one Orlik or PLN 30,000 for two or more; applications closed on 9 April.

A useful activity programme

The timetable should consider children, young people, adults, older users and beginners. Different time slots, ability levels and clear information help an existing facility serve more than booked team games.

Link activities with maintenance

A busy programme affects surface wear, lighting, cleaning and inspection frequency. Operators should connect the activity calendar with maintenance so wider access does not come at the expense of safety.
